Through the Annual Fund, members of the Duke community can connect with the university and with each other while providing invaluable annual operating support for Duke students, faculty, and programs.
The Duke Parents Program is a vital part of the Annual Fund. Each year, the generosity of Duke parents helps the university support its financial aid program, sustain a world-class faculty, pay for service-learning projects, and provide support for a wealth of innovative learning opportunities for students. Learn more about the Parents Program.
The Young Alumni Program provides graduates who are less than 15 years out of school with interesting and engaging ways to stay connected to the university and learn about the value of giving back to Duke. The program organizes class-centric, regional, and Durham-based events, and has development councils in seven major metropolitan areas. Learn more about the Young Alumni program.
Each year, Duke seniors are encouraged to make a gift to the Annual Fund in the dollar amount of their graduation year. Seniors who make a gift can participate in exclusive Senior Week activities, including a climb to the top of Duke Chapel. Currently the Class of 2005 and the Class of 2009 are tied for the record with a 69 percent participation rate. Learn more about the Senior Gift Campaign.
The Annual Fund Phonathon Program provides jobs for Duke undergraduate and graduate students interested in helping the university raise money for the Annual Fund. These student callers serve as "ambassadors" of the university, reaching out to donors and prospective donors to ask for support and to thank them for contributing to the Annual Fund.
